½ cup shredded fontina cheese
4–5 slices of prosciutto, torn into pieces
½ cup caramelized red onions
¼ cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese
Instructions
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 500°F. If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.
Prepare the Dough:
Work your pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer it to a parchment-lined pizza peel or baking sheet.
Assemble the Pizza:
Spread the fig jam evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and fontina cheeses over the fig jam.
Distribute the torn prosciutto pieces and caramelized red onions evenly over the cheese.
Finally, sprinkle the crumbled gorgonzola on top.Dewey’s Pizza+1deweyspizza.com+1
Bake:
Transfer the pizza to the preheated oven (or onto the pizza stone) and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
Serve:
Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes. Slice and serve warm.
Enjoy recreating this delicious Dewey's favorite at home!
